Delta Donates 150 LED Lightings to Rural Thailand

Delta Electronics Foundation has led a donation of 150 LED lighting kits to community centers and an elementary school in Chiang Mai and centers in Chiang Rai, northern Thailand to help solve lighting problems there.

The donation, a joint effort by Delta and Taida, has helped improve the learning environment for children and alleviate the problem of inadequate lighting in that part of the country. And according to Hsu Wei-min, vice president at Taida Electronics Co., a subsidiary of Delta Electronics Inc., a Taiwan-based power management system supplier , the donation is expected to reduce the electricity bills at those facilities by 50 percent.
