Imtra Introduces New LED Engine Room Light

Imtra has introduced its new Engine Room Light, the Imtra LED ERL.

Combining 14 high brightness wide-angle LEDs with a UV stabilized diffusion lens cover, the Imtra LED ERL provides optimal flood illumination for low clearance areas frequently found in engine rooms and generator spaces.

The Imtra LED ERL is designed for quick and easy surface-mount installation and offers the flexibility of either rear or side cable hook-up. The unit is housed in a streamline, UV stable white FRP housing that protrudes a mere 2-inches from the ceiling. Watertight PG7 cable glands are provided for surface-mount wiring and two terminal blocks are electrically connected for fixture-to-fixture “daisy-chain” connection. Emitting no radiated heat, Imtra LED ERL’s do not raise the ambient temperature, therefore providing more comfortable conditions, even in confined workspaces. The fixture’s efficient LED optical and driver design allow for maximum light enjoyment with minimal impact on a vessel’s DC batteries when not charging.

The Imtra LED ERL’s attractive, low-profile design complements well-kept engine spaces, provides a fresh look for otherwise dull utility areas and contains features that broaden its appeal for use in other areas of a vessel. The new LED fixture is designed for simple installation in a variety of situations including wall or ceiling mounting, rear or surface-mount cabling, and interior or exterior locations.  Easy access, integrated terminal blocks provide secure wire connections without the need for special connectors or shrink-tubing. Waterproof to level IP66 (ingress protection), the Imtra LED ERL can be hosed down without concern of water entry. The fixture features an attractive yet robust FRP housing and impact resistant PC lens containing convenient captive secure screws that will not fall out when installing overhead.

The Imtra ERL uses less than eight watts of power and supports input power from 10 to 30 VDC, and measures 9.50-inches x 4.50-inches x 2.05-inches. Switched and non-switched versions are available. The LED ERL is CE approved and made in the USA.
