SavWatt Introduced Its High Power LED Street Lights

SavWatt USA has launched its high power LED Street Lights.

In contrast with High Pressure Sodium Lamps, SavWatt's LED street lights can save about 50% - 70% in energy consumption. Plus, the lifespan of LED street lamps is 3 - 5 times longer than Sodium Lamps'.

According to Michael Haug, SavWatt's CEO, "For example, our 60W, 150W and 220W LED street lights are good solutions to replace conventional 100W, 250W and 400W High Pressure sodium lamps separately. Because of the low power consumption, it's the best light source for Street Lights. SavWatt can also design street lighting solutions according to your projects requirements. "

Mr. Haug further commented, "These LED Street Lights will be assembled in our new Baltimore, MD facility and qualify for Built in America classification, enabling cities to access Federal Stimulus Funds for energy saving projects. We are looking forward to working with several municipalities for their Street Lights requirements. In regards to the Baltimore DOT with 65,000 street lights, we do not have a partnership in place but we are working to meet their requirements, as we are with many other cities."
