Ledtech would emphasize on the indoor lighting and low-temperature lighting development

A leader of Ledtech Electronics introduced, in 2011, the company would emphasis on the indoor lighting and low-temperature lighting market, working hard for revenue up 50% on year, which meant about NT$2.6 billion (US$89.27 million).

In the first six months of 2010, Ledtech's revenues increased up to 50% on year, while dropped in the next six months with much more competitors in the market. Meanwhile, the revenues for SMD, lamp and display had a 45% share in the Ledtech's total revenues in 2010, while general lighting and low-temperature lighting products accounted for 55%.

Looking forward, the company expected assembly business including general lighting and low-temperature lighting to account for 70% of its total revenues in 2011, while component business continued to have higher gross margins. And Europe gross margins would be expected to beyond 40% and around 30% in Taiwan, China and Hong Kong.

In its LED packaging capacity, the company planed to reach 60 million units for SMD, 80 million units for lamps and five million units for displays.
