Nichia will exhibit and speak at IUVA Americas in Cincinnati, OH

On September 26th, 27th and 28th, Nichia will proudly exhibit at the 2022 IUVA Americas Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. Additionally, Nichia America’s Vice President, Erik Swenson, will be presenting on Tuesday, September 27th.

As new challenges continue to arise in public health, drinking water, reuse water and wastewater treatment, air pollution, hospital infections, ballast water treatment and industrial effluents, new applications emerge for UV technologies. The focus of this conference put together by the International Ultra-Violet Association is to present the recent advancements in technology and research addressing the environmental, health, and treatment process challenges of today, as well as to discuss the current trends in UV regulations and new applications.

Nichia will proudly exhibit its full UV LED portfolio, including its industry leading UV-C LED technology ideal for implementation in various large flow water and air disinfection equipment for inactivation of various viruses, including the new coronavirus and sterilization of bacteria.

Nichia promises to continue to develop not only deep-ultraviolet LEDs but also higher-power ultraviolet LEDs with improved performance to help solve various social issues and to assist in achieving a mercury-free and carbon free society through energy conservation.

Nichia will give an educational “LED 101 session” addressing the history of UV LEDs, the construction methodologies, the terminology, the reliability and breakdown mechanisms, the performance roadmaps and several examples of how UV LEDs, specifically UVC LEDs should and should not be implemented today in germicidal applications.
