TAITRONICS 2009 & Taiwan RFID 2009 Opened Today in Taipei, Taiwan

The 35th Taipei International Electronics Show (TAITRONICS), and the 3rd Taiwan Int’l RFID Applications Show (Taiwan RFID), jointly hosted by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA), will opened today, October 8, 2009 at TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall, Taipei, Taiwan.

TAITRONICS 2009 is expected to shed light on the first signs of recovery for the electronics industry. Based on Taiwan’s customs statistics announced in August, among the top three fastest growing export industries in Taiwan, electronics products have increased US$550 million — a significant 32% improvement in comparison to a year ago. TAITRONICS 2009 highlights key electronic components, manufacturing & testing equipment, LED & lighting, and safety & security products. However, the attendance was less than satisfactory, only 30 some LED industry exhibitors turned up at the opening ceremony.

TAITRONICS 2009 is held for 4 days, from October 8th to 11th, 2009, featuring an array of new products focusing on Green IT, electronics components, security monitoring, RFID, metering/electro-mechanical products, and LED & lighting.
