Dialight Chairman Sells First Share Since Company Listed

Dialight announces that the Harry Tee Settlement Trust, of which Harry Tee CBE, Chairman of Dialight plc, is a beneficiary, has sold 425,000 ordinary shares of 1.89 pence each in the Company, representing approximately 1.3% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The shares were sold on the London Stock Exchange at a price of 955 pence per share on 25 May 2012 in order to fund an existing financial commitment and are the first shares that the Chairman has sold since Dialight was listed in 1993.
 
Following this transaction Harry Tee CBE remains a significant shareholder with a beneficial interest in a total of 1,028,357 ordinary shares of 1.89 pence each, representing approximately 3.2% of the issued share capital of the Company. The Chairman confirmed he has no intention to sell any more shares in the Company in the near future.

This notification was received by the Company on 25 May 2012 and was made in accordance with DTR 3.1.2R.
