[News] Brightek Unveils LIN-Lite ICLED: Next-Generation Innovation for High-Efficiency Ambient Lighting for Automotive Interiors

Brightek Optoelectronics proudly presents its LIN-Lite module, featuring Brightek's exclusive design, LIN-Lite ICLED, an innovative solution designed to transform automotive interior ambient lighting. The LIN-Lite ICLED features a high-brightness LED with a LIN Driver IC in a single ultra-compact package, delivering higher efficiency, enhanced brightness, and superior thermal management. By overcoming the traditional trade-off between brightness and heat dissipation, the LIN-Lite ICLED is the ideal solution for high-efficiency automotive ambient lighting.

Technical Highlights of the LIN-Lite ICLED:

  • Ultra-Bright Output: LIN-Lite delivers up to 6× the brightness of conventional single-LED solutions, elevating automotive ambient lighting to the next level.
  • Precision Color Control: The built-in RGB programming and tuning functions in the driver IC ensure compliance with the D65 white light standard, delivering high consistency (≤3 SDCM) and support for 256 preset colors.
  • Miniaturized Design: Ultra-compact 6.5 × 4.5 × 0.85 mm package integrates LED and LIN Driver IC for streamlined wiring.
  • Outstanding Thermal Performance: Generates only 50% of the heat compared to competing solutions at the same brightness level.
  • Smart LIN Communication: Fully compatible with LIN 2.x and SAE J2602, with addressing capability for individual LED control.
  • Flexible Master/Slave Functionality: Enables expanded control of LEDs on a single LIN bus.

Efficiency-Driven Innovation in Automotive Lighting
Each LIN-Lite ICLED is factory pre-programmed with RGB data and fine-tuned through integrated Driver IC calibration. This built-in pre-calibration process dramatically shortens production time and reduces the cost of RGB LED color adjustment. Beyond its technical innovation, LIN-Lite ICLED delivers clear business value for automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, enhancing efficiency, lowering costs, and ensuring long-term reliability.

Brightek will officially showcase the LIN-Lite module at the 37th DVN International Automotive Lighting Workshop (Shanghai) on October 29-30, 2025. Through a specialized presentation, the company will provide an in-depth introduction to its design architecture and market applications. During the event, CH Tzeng, the general manager of Brightek shared with attending experts the technical advantages and business value of LIN-Lite, providing further understanding of how it meets the highly competitive automotive manufacturing industry's demands for high-efficiency, high-brightness, and excellent thermal management lighting solutions.
