The two new exhibitions at this year’s lighting fair--“Hall of Display World” and “World of Chandeliers” provided buyers with more options and enabled them to find more suitable products and suppliers. The “Hall of LED and Green Lighting” displayed a variety of LED products as well as indoor/outdoor energy saving lighting products that meet the current green energy trend in the LED market. The “Hall of Aurora” displayed lighting products of 140 famous brands including Everlight, Fulham, Megaman, Huayi, and Viribright.

“Commercial Lighting”, “Decorative Lighting”, “Lighting Accessories, Parts and Components”, “Technical and Outdoor Lighting”, and “Business of IP Zone” are also popular sections at the exposition. In general, this exposition featured various lighting products with characteristics including energy saving, multi-functions, and innovative designs.

Supporting innovation, promoting cooperation

The latest lighting developments as well as related laws and regulations were discussed at the “Asian Lighting Forum” where important speakers including senior manager of Philips Lumileds’ global product line Dr. Mark Chang, and senior engineer of Hong Kong Housing Authority and Housing Department Johnny P.K. Tam were invited. Moreover, the 6th Hong Kong Lighting Design Competition Award Presentation Ceremony will be held tonight, and the winning projects will be displayed at Hall 1C.
