LED MOCVD Equipment Maker Veeco holds User Meeting in Taiwan

Veeco held the 2010 User Meeting in Hsinchu, Taiwan, inviting Taiwan-based LED epitaxy manufacturers to share their experience in product usage and hold discussions about the new product.



In addition to the introduction of K465i, its latest MOCVD system product, Veeco also outlined the development direction of the new technology, which is set to be launched in 2011 for the expansion of LED production capacity.

Furthermore, Veeco introduced its M&I inspection equipment, used to provide inspection system solutions suitable for the LED Industry.

At the user meeting, Veeco also invited staff from the Epistar Corporation to share their experiences in using Veeco's MOCVD systems, offering the attendees more in-depth knowledge on the use of its equipment. Production capacity is a major focus for Taiwan makers. In fact, apart from the yield and capacity improvement, Taiwan makers have already worked on 4 inch LED epitaxy.

Veeco stated that it will continue to hold User Meetings in Taiwan in order to help Taiwan’s LED industry with its growth and future developments.
