CES 2009: Vivitek to show world's first 1080p LED projector

Vivitek Corporation, a leader in the environmentally responsible manufacture of today's most innovative visual display and presentation products, will be showing its first 1080p LED projector at the 2009 CES this week in Las Vegas. The quiet, new HC7500A, breakthrough projector, provides the growing HD home theater market with the industry's brightest, pure-color, video to-date.

The new HC7500A DLP projector offers up a 35,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,920 x 1,080 native resolution, 700-lumen brightness rating and a lamp-free LED light source that can keep shining for around 20,000 hours. Completely Mercury-free, the DLP dust- and filter-free design eliminates filter disposal and cleaning, and the non-motion interior of the projector affords the quietest and coolest running. Vivitek's new projector is a complete home cinema experience.

The unit is a new curved design with centered lens for easy installation and screen adjustments. With a footprint the size of a small laptop, the new projector is perfect for out-of-site mounting or cabinet storage.

For all applications, Vivitek's new projector has a wide variety of ports including dual, all-digital HDMI connections. The new HC7500A 1080p projector from Vivitek has an MSRP of $13,999 and will be available in early June.
