Barco Perfects Its Impressive Control Room Portfolio with Two New Full HD LED-lit Video Wall Modules

Barco, a global leader in control room visualization solutions, announces the release of two new rear-projection video wall cubes in the OverView M series. The OverView MVL-621 and OverView MVL-721 are industry-standard modules with full HD resolution and screen diameters of 60” and 70”, respectively. These 16:9 models complete the OverView M series, which already features three 4:3 models and focuses on reducing both the initial purchase price and runtime costs.

Barco’s OverView M series is designed to fit the requirements of medium-sized industry-standard control rooms. Featuring redundancy of the most critical components, advanced cooling, and full-color and white-point calibration, these rear-projection video wall modules provide Barco image quality and reliability at an affordable price.

Using six-fold redundant LEDs as a light source, the OverView M series offers many advantages, including: long lifetime, low maintenance due to the absence of consumable components, reduced power consumption, and long uptime. The latest LED technology ensures that power consumption is 30% lower than that of comparable products. And the Sense5 automatic white-point and full-color calibration system ensures uniform color and brightness levels over the entire video wall.

“With the introduction of the OverView MVL-621 and OverView MVL-721, we now offer two complete ranges of rear-projection video walls – the OverView O and the OverView M series – allowing customers to choose the system that best answers their needs,” adds Suchit Rout, Segment Marketing Manager Control Rooms at Barco. “The OverView O series offers all of Barco’s advanced innovations in both image quality and redundancy – including active liquid cooling, fully featured redundancy, and full-spectrum calibration – making it the series of choice for top segment control rooms that need guaranteed continuous operation without a minute of interruption. Our new OverView M series, on the other hand, offers good image quality and reliability – at an advantageous price – which is ideal for industry standard control rooms. This allows a wider spectrum of our partners and customers to benefit from Barco quality and services, further expanding our footprint in the control rooms industry.”
