Sharp Announces Quadtron 3D LED TV line

Sharp Electronics of Japan has announced the Quadtron line of TV sets, the models range in size from 40-inches to 60-inches (40, 46, 52 and 60) and of the new models, four of them are 3D ready.



Common to all the new models is a UV2A panel that includes full high definition resolution. The 3D TVs will require 3D shutter glasses, with Sharp throwing in a pair with each purchase.

Other features available on the Sharp Quadtron LED TV lineup include dual TV tuners and USB recording. Units will be available for purchase in Japan starting in late July with pricing starting at $3,200 for the 40-inch screen.
