Apple’s New Patents to Embed Light Sensors onto Device Displays

Rumor has it that Apple will shift to a bezel- free display iPhone in 2017, the company will have to embed everything into the display, reported Today's iPhone.

But that might not be the only feature for the next gen iPhone, Apple’s U.S. patent No. 9,466,653 titled “Electronic devices with display-integrated light sensors” shows the embedded design of light sensors onto display screens of electronic devices, reported appleinsider.

The patent doesn’t simply place sensor into the display but rather on the extreme edge of OLED display.
