Jackson County, New LED Lights Project At Cascade Falls

A Performance At Cascades Falls Park

Jackson County, Minnesota - A $30,000 project at Cascades Falls Park calls for the replacement of incandescent bulbs with LED lights.

John Jarchow, owner of JTEC Services in Jackson, is responsible for replacing the 1,230 incandescent bulbs in the falls with 90 LED rope lights. A new computer system and light controllers have also been installed, and should allow for a wider variety of shows and music.

"The lights are brighter and the project will be done this week, in time for the relighting ceremony this weekend," Jarchow said. "The new system will cut the lighting costs down 50-60 percent, this is a significant savings."
