The extent and depth of exhibitions was escalated at The Guangzhou International Exhibition 2016, which runs from June 9-12, 2016 at China Import and Export Complex. Besides developing an integrated platform at the exhibition, the show organizers also assisted manufacturers in building partnerships, and providing buyers with a one-stop shopping platform that encompasses lighting equipment, LED package, and new LED technologies.

Industrial lighting is an important sector in the lighting industry, which LEDinside projects will reach a size of US $2.36 billion by 2015, and climb up to US $3.94 billion in 2018.

There are many industrial lighting manufacturers at GILE 2016 including Guangzhou Yajiang Photoelectric Equipment, Meteor Shower, YD Illumination, Wanjinghua and others. Last year Yajiang Photoelectronic’s LED spotlight received the Alighting Award, signifying its excellent product quality.

LED’s energy efficient effect enables it to be used for long hours in industrial lighting environment, and its return of investment (ROI) is much more competitive than residential lighting products, analyzed LEDinside analysts. It also gives users greater incentives to replace existing luminaires with LED high bay lights, while improvements in LED lighting products C/P ratio has further lowered product prices. Industrial lighting market will be prioritized by LED package and lighting manufacturers from 2015-2016.

Streetlights also comprise a fairly large market share, vendors in the sector that attended the show includes HPWINNER, Lanhe Photoelectronic and others.

Power supplier Meanwell possesses considerable market share in outdoor construction sector, in addition it is releasing new products to meet high bay light market demands.

Infineon’s MOSFET LED drivers are mostly applied in 9W LED bulbs, compared to resistor solutions on the market, these products are more reliable, which significantly lowers recall risks. Additionally, the company’s LCC wide output voltage dimmable IC LED driver solution can be applied in LED commercial lighting, high bay lights and streetlight applications.
