In recent years, increasing LED lamps are used to replace traditional light sources in all fields for more energy saving and comfortable life. To replace conventional parking lot lighting, Yaham carefully redesigned the classic shoe box light, which has achieved breakthroughs both in thermal management and light distribution.

For better performance of thermal management and protection, the heat sink has been completely redesigned. An integrated heat sink is used instead of conventional modular design in YAHAM LED shoe box light. The main radiator fins provide the most direct heat dissipation channel to flow heat away from the light source, and guarantee a long lifetime.

Moreover, an independent electrical cavity separates the power supply away from the outer space. Extra protection is provided for the power supply and electrical wiring. A gap is formed between power supply and heat sink, to ensure the performance of LED driver.

Light distribution has also been carefully designed to ensure a wider illumination zone and better illuminance uniformity for parking lot application. After investigation and simulation, 110°*150° beam angle was engineered to achieve the best area lighting performance. 

According to the simulation by Dialux, YAHAM LED Shoe box Light have a good performance in area Lighting. We use 26 pcs 150W Shoe box Light to create a lighting system for a 10,000 square meters parking lot . Report shows that the horizontal illumination and uniformity all can meet the design standards.

The shoe box light also supports intelligent expansion to offer a more economical lighting system. Using a zone control system, the main road area maintains a specific light level, while other parking areas are integrated with motion sensors and dimming systems to reduce energy usage in unoccupied areas. The light fixture with motion sensor will work at a lower lighting level that the operators set, and the low light level is maintained until the motion sensor is activated when a car drives into the control zone. As a standard system, a simple system can bring 30% energy savings compared to a traditional lighting installation.
