Thorn Launches Isaro Pro

Thorn Lighting announces the launch of Isaro Pro, a slim and sleek lantern that looks great and performs brilliantly. Made from top-quality die-cast aluminium, Isaro Pro is built to withstand the elements and cope with physical impact and vibration. With a lifetime of 100,000 hours (at 25°C), efficacy of up to 139lm/W and control options including RF wireless, Isaro Pro guarantees years of reliable performance at an exceptionally low cost of ownership, making it an ideal choice for both new and retrofit projects. With light output of up to 9500lm, Isaro Pro is powerful enough to handle minor roads, residential areas and car parks.

At the same time, Isaro Pro supports sustainability and respects the environment, thanks to its long life, low energy consumption, and carefully designed optics that prevent light pollution, minimising sky glow and disturbance to wildlife.

Thanks to Thorn’s unique R-PEC optic, Isaro Pro offers unprecedented optical flexibility. A choice of 14 light distributions is available for highly efficient and comfortable light, right where you need it. Whether you’re lighting a residential street, a busy road or a pedestrian crossing, The R-PEC optic provides clear lighting with minimal glare to make the city as safe as possible at night.

Isaro Pro is built to withstand everything that nature and the outdoor environment can throw at it. With an IP66 rating for ingress protection and IK09 for impact, as well as strong corrosion resistance, there are few applications Isaro Pro can’t handle.

It makes life easy for contractors too. With internal components easily accessed from above without the need for tools, maintenance couldn’t be simpler. It is available pre-wired and its automatic disconnect function means maintenance is safe. And the ability to easily replace components means this luminaire is truly futureproof.

Bertrand Aveline, Global Product Manager Outdoor Road lighting said: “Isaro Pro has it all. It’s great-looking, tough enough to be installed pretty much anywhere, and our unique optics mean its highly flexible. We’ve worked hard to achieve the right combination of reliability, efficiency and performance to keep the cost of ownership really low, making it easier than ever to benefit from all the advantages of Thorn’s lighting technology.”
