Coming back to our usual course, despite the Christmas holiday season this week, Apple has kept up its pace of patent applications. The company first issued an application new quantum dot patent to enhance display colors, then with a flexible sapphire substrate display cover patent. While wearable devices appear to be the next major consumer electronic trend, OLED TV is hitting the rocks with large manufacturers including Samsung, Panasonic and Sony cutting down on production.
