4,783 entries by 2,102 participants submitted from 53 countries: From 20th to 22nd January 2015 a 53-member international jury of experts met in Hamburg to determine the winners of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2015. Three products of LED Linear were honored with the prestigious award: ADONIS, KALYPSO und HYDRALUX.

ADONIS

Minimalist design combined with outstanding functionality - ADONIS impresses as a simplistic yet elaborate lighting object. The high-performance encapsulated linear surface mounted luminaire in IP67 with small form factor provides a lumen flux of up to 1,754 lm/m. Due to simple installation and high durability, it is ideal for many applications both indoors and outdoors. From a design point of view ADONIS convinces with elegant design and an absolutely homogeneous light. During installation, it convinces with invisible light joints and connections and thus meets the high demands of professionals.

The architectural details of the exterior facade of the cathedral are emphasized impressively by the 10° lens of KALPYSO.

KALYPSO

High-performance encapsulated linear surface mounted luminaire in IP67 with precise linear optics for optimum light control combined with high protection and high performance of up to 3,000 lm/m. The profile of small cross section and either 10° wall grazing, 30° or 60° general illumination optics, guarantees a perfect and targeted illumination of the specific lighting task. The dynamical design language of KALYPSO underlines the detailed functionality of this exterior luminaire. It is available in standard lengths and with IP67 luminaire-to-luminaire connector. The mounting is realized with invisible light joints and connections.

Curved indirect ceiling elements can be precisely backlit with the filigree flexible HYDRALUX.

HYDRALUX

New design freedom with HYDRALUX – depending on the step measurement this luminaire can be cut to the desired length on site and then easily be assembled by adhesive bonding. The elegant and filigree flexible linear luminaire with reflective, white base profile is available with up to 1,637 lm/m and in IP67. It is waterproof and UV-protected and two lights can be joined without light gap. The thoughtful concept and the small cross section of 12,5 x 3,5 mm (WxH) allow the use almost everywhere, such as in shop-lighting or applications in furniture and shelves.
