Philips LightVibes Brought Imagine Dragons Concert Film to London Audience

Last night at an exclusive screening at London’s independent Genesis Cinema in Mile End, Philips Lighting brought one of the world’s hottest bands to the silver screen as never seen before.

Philips Lighting, a Royal Philips (NYSE: PHG, AEX, PHIA) company and global leader in lighting, hosted the immersive concert event with an exclusive screening of the critically acclaimed Imagine Dragons: Smoke + Mirrors Live concert powered by Philips LightVibes.

Philips LightVibes creates a unique experience for fans in cinemas by adding dynamic, lighting effects and video imagery synced to the on-screen action.

The Imagine Dragons: Smoke + Mirrors Tour features one of the most striking light shows ever seen. The creative director behind the tour, Moment Factory, has supported Philips to create the light show for this exclusive event from the original live performance.

Philips LightVibes LED media panels allow viewers to enjoy an immersive viewing experience.

At the screening Philips LightVibes LED media panels placed along the side walls of the cinema relayed colour and imagery synced to the action on screen, so that viewers enjoyed an immersive viewing experience as though they were actually at the live concert.

Also, exclusive Philips LightVibes screenings of the concert were held simultaneously in Odeon & UCI Cinemas Group’s KINOWELT Ruhr Park cinema in Bochum, Germany; and the Zien Cinema in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. In addition, more than 790 cinemas are offering the title via distribution, broadening access to the concert for many more fans around the world.
