Absen Europe has opened a group buying promotion for the SA1.5, the latest evolution of its Saturn Series, available exclusively to European rental and staging companies through 30th September 2026. The programme gives partners the ability to build SA1.5 inventory from a single coordinated production batch, guaranteeing panel-to-panel consistency in colour calibration, LED binning and visual output across every production and cross-rental. For companies investing in COB technology for the first time, it represents a uniquely low-risk entry point into next-generation rental display.

“The SA1.5 is the most significant step forward in our Saturn platform since the series launched. COB technology fundamentally changes what a rental panel can deliver, in terms of image quality, resilience and total cost of ownership,” Says Emma Liu, General Manager of Absen Europe. “This group buying programme gives our European partners the opportunity to get ahead of that shift, build consistent fleets from a single batch, and enter the next generation of rental display with confidence.”
Launched at ISE 2026, the SA1.5 is AbsenLive’s first COB panel in the Saturn Series, featuring a 1.56mm pixel pitch and full flip-chip COB (Chip on Board) technology. Unlike conventional SMD rental panels, the SA1.5 is built on a monolithic structure in which the LED chips are bonded directly to the substrate beneath a continuous protective surface, delivering what Absen describes as ‘6-star shield protection’. The result is a panel that offers 40% greater stability and 30% lower power consumption than conventional alternatives, while an ultra-low surface reflectance (SCI-SCE <0.4%) eliminates glare to the greatest extent and ensures exceptional on-camera performance in broadcast environments.
The SA1.5 delivers the visual performance expected of the Saturn Series, up to 1,200 nits brightness, 15-bit greyscale, a 7,680Hz refresh rate and a wide 160° viewing angle, at a resolution step-change that makes it the natural choice for close-viewing environments such as corporate events, broadcast studios and high-end live shows. Built on a dual-layer die-casting magnesium cabinet, the SA1.5 maintains full backward compatibility with the entire Saturn Series accessory ecosystem: including SA flight cases, hanging bars and stacking bases, meaning companies can expand into COB without wasting cost on accessories.
The SA1.5 group buying programme is open exclusively to European rental and staging partners and closes 30th September 2026. To register interest or find out more, visit absen-europe.com or contact your regional Absen Europe representative.
