YoungTek announces financial result in the first three quarter of 2010

Taiwan-based LED sorting and semiconductor testing company YoungTek Electronics (YTEC) announced financial result during the time from 1Q to 3Q in 2010.

Revenues reached NT$2.188 billion with an average gross margin of 43.67%, and net profits went to NT$628 million (US$20.48 million), with EPS of NT$6.58.

In the results, LED sorting accounted for 43.42%, IC testing and equipment assembly accounted for 42.47% and 14.11%, respectively.in September, the company’s LED sorting service shipped 2.024 billion units, and 2.15 billion units are projected for October. But in the next two month, LED sorting shipment will be thought to decline.

Look forward 4Q, it is expected that shipment will keep flat growth. The revenues will be down 15% sequentially.
