The Port Commissioners and Caltrans has unveiled plans for a programmable LED light show on the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge that will be 100% powered by wind turbines, which is considered as the largest interactive green energy lighting project in North America. OSRAM Opto Semiconductors and MODA LIGHT transform campus restaurant with energy-efficient lighting technology Legends, a campus restaurant and ale house located at the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, recently completed the installation of 70 MODA LIGHT ICAN 15 down lights throughout its dining facilities. Taiwan's outlying island of Kinmen has installed a new system of LED lamps for street lighting as part of the county's low carbon energy-saving efforts. Toshiba Electronics Europe has launched two collections of LED drivers, the 16-channel TC62D748 and TC62D749, which deliver constant currents between 1.5 and 90mA and offer high-speed serial data transfer rates up to 25MHz.   Both of them are designed for the control of LED modules and LED displays built around multiple LED strings.
