According to Works Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor from Kuala Lumpur, the government can reduce costs by up to 50 per cent with LED bulbs for road lighting. Osram Makes Breakthroughs on OLED

Lately, Osram has made two breakthroughs on OLED. One breakthrough is that, testing under application-oriented conditions in an integrating sphere, the company has achieved 87 lm/W with its OLED in the lab. In contrast to the previous achieved peak value, this efficacy is about 40 percent higher or nearly the efficiency of fluorescent lamps. UK-first LED Lightings in London Road Tunnel

It’s said that TfL (Transport for London) has completed UK-first installation of LED lightings in the Upper Thames Street westbound tunnel to improve visibility for cyclists and motorists to boost safety.
