Phoseon Technology to Showcase LED Curing Solutions at Touch Taiwan 2018

Phoseon Technology, the U.S. based UV LED solution provider, is going to exhibit its latest UV LED curing solutions for adhesive applications at Touch Taiwan 2018 in Taipei, Taiwan.

UV curing is a photopolymerization process that uses UV energy to change the form of objects from liquid to solid. With absorption of the UV energy, the photoinitiators generate free radicals which initiate cross-linking with binders in a polymerization reaction to cure or solidify the ink, coating or adhesive. The technology of UV LED curing is widely used to adhesives and bond materials during the production processes with its features of low operating costs, long lifetime, and low maintenance. The applications include electronics, medical devices, industrial solutions and others.

At the upcoming event of Touch Taiwan, Phoseon will demonstrate how its LED technology can be adopted in adhesive applications given its compact size, ease of integration, and high intensity output achieved through optimized LED thermal management. The company will also display a wide variety of industry-related equipment for touch panel and optical film, manufacturing machinery, drying and curing equipment.
