The Port Commissioners and Caltrans has unveiled plans for a programmable LED light show on the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge that will be 100% powered by wind turbines, which is considered as the largest interactive green energy lighting project in North America. Taiwan's outlying island of Kinmen has installed a new system of LED lamps for street lighting as part of the county's low carbon energy-saving efforts.
